The flight, it gets long and bumpy and it came with fried rice for breakfast. You fumble out and through the nicest customs agents in the world and then you’re still 50 miles from Shinjuku. You find the sign that says N’EX and spend the next hour viewing Japan from seat window, waiting for that glimpse of the Sports Authority shop which always makes you puzzled. This never seemed like a spot for a big box American sporting goods store. A week later, the same store. It’s time to go home.
(All photos taken with the iPhone app QuadCamera, long my favorite.)
